| Essential Oils Used in The RainDrop Technique 1. Valor - is the most important oil used in this technique because it works on both the physical and emotional levels. It balances electrical energies within the body, giving one courage, confidence and self-esteem. It is applied to the soles of the feet and to the shoulders. Valor is a blend of (a) Rosewood - which is soothing, creates elasticity and helps the skin rid itself of irritations such as Candida. It is anti-infectious, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-parasitic; (b) Blue Tansy - European research shows that this oil works as an antihistamine, anti-inflammatory and stimulant for the thymus gland, reducing dermatitis, arthritis, sciatica, tuberculosis and allergies; (c) Frankincense - helps stimulate the limbic part of the brain, which elevates the mind, helping overcome stress and feelings of despair; (d) Spruce - helps to open and release emotional blocks, bringing about a feeling of balance and grounding. It is anti-infectious, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. 2. Oregano - is highly damaging against many kinds of microbes and was recently shown in laboratory research conducted at Weber State University, Ogden, Utah to have a 99 percent rate of reducing airborne bacteria. It is also a metabolism balancer and strengthens the vital center of the body. It helps one to feel more grounded and strengthens feelings of security. 3. Thyme - is highly anti-microbial and acts directly on viruses and bacteria. It contains thymol which has been studied for its effects on reducing bacteria in the mouth. As a dietary supplement, it is one of the strongest antioxidants known. Thyme easily penetrates the skin and travels throughout the body. It may help one overcome fatigue and physical weakness after illness. 4. Basil - is anti-spasmodic and relaxes the muscles. It is very anti-microbial and assists with mental clarity and sharpens the sense of smell. It is helpful with gastrointestinal problems. It is also used to soothe insect bites. 5. Cypress - supports the circulatory system. It improves circulation and relieves spasms and swelling. It may open the respiratory tract and help move fluids in cases of edema, cellulite, varicose veins, water retention and hemorrhoids. It also strengths cell walls. 6. Wintergreen - has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that relieve pain. It is excellent for bone and joint discomfort such as arthritis, tendonitis and rheumatism. 7. Marjoram - is anti-spasmodic and helps relax the muscles. It calms the respiratory tract and relieves migraine headaches. 8. Peppermint - relieves muscle pain. It is also anti-microbial and works in conjunction with other oils to enhance their activity. It is excellent for calming nerves; it opens and elevates the sensory system. It also helps reduce fevers, Candida, nausea, vomiting and may aid respiratory functions. 9. Aroma Siez - helps relax, calm and relieve tight, sore tired and aching muscles resulting from sports injuries, fatigue and stress. Also helps in relieving headaches. Aroma Siez is a blend of: (a) Basil (see above), (b) Cypress (see above), (c) Marjoram (see above), (d) Lavender - which helps relieve arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, convulsions, depression, earaches, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, hives, insect bites, nervous tension, respiratory infection and rheumatism; (e) Peppermint (see above) and (f) Ortho Ease or Ortho Sport - both blends of vegetable and essential oils with many of the same properties as those listed above. 10. V-6 Mixing Oil - used to dilute the oils, in particular after applying oregano. Thyme and Oregano often produces an excess warming or reddening to the skin, a problem that occurs often with fair and light-skinned people. Diluting them with the V-6 Mixing Oil can reduce reddening or skin irritations. Click here to return to the RainDrop Technique information page. |
